Items are manufactured under strict control together with constant evaluation during processing. The Buyer's attention is called to the following facts which should be borne in mind in the use of ALL metal spring products: Metal springs may be subject to metal fatigue after prolonged use. Corrosive chemicals, corrosive atmosphere, high stress, friction, and extreme temperatures; each may result in spring failure.
Since our company has no control over subsequent usage of its products, and has no control over deterioration of its products through other conditions, the responsibility of this company ceases upon production to specifications, proper packaging, and acceptance of shipment by carrier.
The DEJACQUES Saxophone Strap is manufactured with great care and stringent quality control each step of the way. Jaw movement is checked many times during production — as is slide function, cord movement, cord holding power, rivet strength.
Every detail is rechecked upon completion and before packaging.
Jaws stress-test to 120 pounds tensile strength. Cord tests to 250 pounds.
With proper usage, straps should last a long time. User should avoid swinging and jerking movements, leaning, pushing outward or putting excessive weight on instrument, and, in particular, CARELESS REMOVAL OF CLASP FROM INSTRUMENT.
PLUNGER must be pushed all the way into clasp — allowing jaws to retract COMPLETELY — then, with jaws retracted, clasp must be disengaged with a sideward or rolling motion.
NEVER attempt to disengage clasp by pulling instrument downward.
